If I owned the Demonata series, I'm certain that there would be a lot more romance between all the mind numbing horror, lol.
There was no question about it. Punk extraordinaire Dervish Grady was definitely attracted to Meera Flame in more ways than one. Sure he appreciated her sharp tongue and her witty charm. He even appreciated her habit of consistent flirting but he could already tell today would be one of those days. One filled with 'accidental' touching and more than a fair share of innuendo.
He groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration, tempted to shirk all responsibility and give in to temptation. Dervish sighed. The risk of impregnation was far too much, and while he was almost desperate to see just what was so poorly hidden behind that thin silk nightgown, he knew he'd never forgive himself if she were to give birth to a monster child. It made his desire for one nighters extremely difficult to deal with. Maybe someday.

He didn't have to look up to know that the blonde had winked at him. Just like he didn't have to look up to know that she was leaning forward just enough to let the tops of her breasts spill slightly over the hem of her nightgown. But he did take a slight glance, licking his lips when he saw her creamy skin start to blend in with a half a circle of peach skin before disappearing under her nightgown. What a tease.
"It's coming along quite well if I must say so myself," he replied with a rather cocky grin.
Hopefully that someday was soon.
Grimmy: After noticing the EXTREME lack of Demonata fanfiction on this site I was hard pressed to add my own little contribution. Not to mention we're in desperate need of some good old Dervish/Meera loving. I just hope some other people decide to add to this fandom. And apparently the word count for this site sucks as it says I went 4 words over my 200 limit. After hand counting three times I'm more than certain that the word count here is mentally unstable. Thanks a lot~

I recently betaed this and I also got a review saying that Meera is a redhead. Where this person saw this I don't know but in my book it says that she's a 'smokin' hot blonde'.
