Third Person POV:

A boy stood on a podium alongside a huge black bat in front of a council, waiting for judgment.

The boy was Gregor the Overlander, the famous warrior of the underland. The black bat next to him was Ares, Gregor's bond and very good friend.

They had just returned from a quest following the Prophecy of Bane and delivered the news to the people of Regalia that they have let the Bane, a white rat who was destined to destroy the humans that Gregor was supposed to kill, with Ripred, a rat that is in allegiance with the humans.

Gregor is in the Underland, a warring place miles below Gregor's home, New York City. Giant animals and pale skinned, violet eyed humans live in the Underland.

Gregor and Ares are just standing on a podium, waiting for the verdict on the apparent treason they have committed.

Just when Gregor can't take the stress anymore, the council returns from their meeting.

All the members of the council are present as they start to deliver the verdict.

"Gregor the Overlander and Ares the Flier" The council begins.

"You both are on trial for treason for not killing the Bane when you needed to. You have done a great crime against the city of Regalia. The council herby declares you both guilty and will be banished from Regalia for the crime you have committed. You will leave when you wake up tomorrow."

Gregor's POV:

Oh no

I looked at my bond and he had the same expression on his face, Shock and disbelief.

A thousand thoughts were running through my head at the same time: What do I tell mom, what do I do know, where do we go and how do we survive; all these questions cannot be answered.

I was losing hope when somebody jumps up from the back of the room, "That's outrageous and unacceptable!" the mystery person yells.

Then I noticed the scar running down the rat's face. Ripred was standing up for us, I couldn't believe it.

I leaned over to Ares and whisper "can you believe Ripred is standing up for us, I didn't even know he was here"

"I didn't know he was here either let alone stand up for us" Ares purred in response.

Third Person POV:

As Ripred stood up and voiced his opinion, everybody stopped what they were doing and turned to look at him.

"Ripred sit down, you don't have any authority to do this" a council member said

"I will not sit down to your will boy and the warrior will not be banished" Ripred retorted

"If you don't leave right now you will be banished along with these two traitors over here" he said while pointing to Gregor and Ares.

"Fine banish me, do whatever you have to do, but just remember, you can't win the war without us three" Ripred finished

"We won wars with the rats before without you three and we can do it again. You Ripred are hereby banished from Regalia along with the warrior and his bond, and that is final" the council member finished.

"Guards, bring them to get their belongings and see that they are escorted away from the city and go their own way."

With that happy thought, 20 guards bonded the trio's hands behind their backs and led them out of the council room to get their belongings.
