When Sasuke was little he loved to comb his fingers through his mothers, fathers and older brothers' hair, since he himself didn't get the luxury of getting long and silkysmooth hair. Nooo, Sasuke got short spiky hair that stud up in the back, he tried to get it to grow but it simply wouldn't.

He remembered Itachi would always smirk at his attempts to make it longer. He would stand on his head believing gravitity would eventually drag it down, he would steal his mothers conditioner thinking that maybe the magical powers that the conditioner his mother used would transfer to his head and make his hair longer. It didn't, none of his bulletproof plans worked. Sasuke simply had to deal with his short but very smooth and pretty hair.

Then the massacre happened and Sasukes world fell apart, but as years past filled with laughter, anger, revenge, finally getting revenge he decided to go home. Home to his favorite village, the very same village he once tried to destroy.

Love and commitments, was now a big part of his life. He had searched long for the love of his life, he had dated plenty full of women and dumped even more, even some guys. But they all lacked of something special; long, silkysmooth hair to run his fingers through.

He had tried dating Sakura, when he first got back to the village but her hair felt more like the hairs of a shorthaired cat, and above all he could not stand the colour. He tried Hinata, she was a sweet, pretty, longhaired beauty but when he touched her hair, well, it wasn't as soft as it looked like. He didn't dae TenTen because she simply scared him and he didn't exactly see her as a woman but more of a man.

He tried dating some girls in Konoha but they simply wouldn't do.

One day he saw Ino in the flower shop. He stopped to look at her through the window, how hereyes crinkeld when she laughed, how she would redo her ponytail when it got too loose or how she would smile when she a flower arrangment. From that day Sasuke had made up his mind that Ino was the, and he didn't understand why he hadn't thought of it before. Silly Sasuke.

So he asked her out, lucky for him she said yes. That was three years ago, they now live together on the Uchiha compounds, that had opened up again and was again a lively part of town. Ino had started to notice somehing very weird when living with Sasuke. Everytime she woke up she would have small braids in her hair, and everytime she would ask Sasuke why she had them he would simply shrug his shoulders and walk away.

Sasuke thought Ino was totally clueless when it came to his shananigans, but she knew. She wouldn't say anything to Sasuke because it would probably take away a little bit of his manly pride. So she kept her mouth shut, well, she didn't really mind, he did make nice braids.

This little habit of his continued on, she woke up with her in braids after their wedding night, she woke up with braids in her hair after she passed out giving birth to his first born, and he still wouldn't confess. But she knew, and she saw it with her own eyes when Sasuke sat in their six year old daughter's room, braiding her hair. It was a funny but sweet sight to see the old mighty Uchiha braiding a little girls hair, but for those little habits of his she loved.
