Declaimer: do you really think I own pikmin?

Prologue

Lying on the grass was peaceful; I felt like I could just lie there forever…of course, something always has to ruin my peaceful moments.

"HI FLAME!" I heard a wing yell excitedly. A moment later, I was picked up.

I sighed "hi Ariel" I said. She giggled at my reply as she put me down. It was no secret Ariel loved red pikmin, although she seemed to hang around rocks more, which was weird with how different they are.

Oh, let me introduce myself. I'm Flame, the leader of the reds. I'm the most skilled at battle, and can easily command an army…when they listen to me.

"Have you seen Toxic?" Ariel asked "she ran away again."

I sighed. Toxic was a white, and was the most hyper and distracted pikmin I've met. The only one that even comes close to her hyperactivity is Ariel.

"No, I haven't" I said "ask Muscles, the two seem pretty close"

Muscles was a purple pikmin, and the only one who can punch harder than me. Toxic seemed to love purples, and Muscles was as fascinated with her as Toxic was with them.

"Ok!" Ariel said excitedly "oh, and Daisy was looking for you, she's with Aqua" before I could reply, Ariel zoomed off.

Daisy was a yellow pikmin and Aqua was a blue. Daisy loved being with me, and I'll admit, her company was nice. Aqua on the other hand wasn't very fascinated with others. She seemed to look at the stars, as if wishing there was something else that would come…what she was expecting, no one really knew.

I walked over to the lake, where Aqua loved being with Daisy. Aqua didn't get along with many pikmin, even her own colored pikmin tend to be overly depressed compared to her. Daisy was Aqua's first real friend, and the two loved hanging around each other.

Daisy looked at me, and the normal, joyful spark ran along her body ""Hi Flame!" she said happily. Yellows were pretty much balls of happiness and the sparks they emit show it.

"Hiya Daisy" I said calmly.

At that moment, Aqua jumped up from the water. "Hi Flame!" she said excitedly. Aqua always seemed like a leaf, even though she had a flower.

Actually, I remember being a leaf with her. Red loved having me around, but because of how calm I am, my stem didn't mature as quickly as others. Red had trained me with Daisy and Aqua. Daisy had premature budding, and she often spent her time jumping through the air with the wings, whenever she wasn't with reds. Aqua, on the other hand, budded around the same time I did, which was normal for her. She spent time alone most of the time, and often talked about space.

"Dry off Aqua, it's almost sunset" I said.

The big fiery ball in the sky, the sun, was our indicator of how safe it was outside. I still remember Red lecturing me when I snuck out and spent the night in the wild. Boy was he worried.

"Ok!" Aqua replied. When we were ready, we made our way back to the onion, where the other pikmin were waiting.

All I remember of that night is Muscles launching the onion as I fell asleep.

After several weeks of inactivity, I FINALLY got something updated! I had written this a while ago, but I hadn't really figured out a story line for it…I think I might have figured one out though, so I'll try my best! Originally, I had set this to be at some point in between games, but I decided that, for the sake of story, this will be before Pikmin 1. Remember: I love criticism, reviews encourage me, and I'm open to input. Bye for now!
