Sora's Resolve
"I will ask you once more key blade master," The Nobody known as Xemnas demanded. He had grown tired of toying with Sora. After 4 straight hours of going at it Sora was battered. He was bleeding a lot and could barely stand. But he had to. Sora knew he had to. He couldn't let Xemnas get her! "Now tell me where Kairi is and I shall spare your pathetic existence!" Xemnas demanded. Sora didn't answer the twisted reincarnated nobody. Instead, Sora grabbed his key blade swung at Xemnas once more. Xemnas grabbed Sora's key with one hand and lifted his own dark blade up into the air. Sora was helpless. "Prepare to die foolish boy!" Xemnas shouted about to bring his blade down.
"Stop!" someone yelled desperately out of the shadows. Xemnas halted his blade just above Sora's head and turned. He began to smile as he gazed towards his target. It was Kairi. "Please," She cried. "Don't kill Sora. Just take me and leave him alone." She continued. Xemnas laughed while Sora started using all his strength to break free. He turned to look at Kairi.
"Kairi," He began. "Run, forget me. I can *cough* take him." Blood trickled down Sora's face. Kairi was petrified at the state Xemnas had put Sora in.
Seeing no more use for Sora, Xemnas threw the key blade master away and turned to Kairi. He grabbed Kairi's hand and forced her to her feet. "Your all mine now girl!" He began. "Soon, Kingdom Hearts will be mine as well. I will Finally get my heart. Streams of tears fell from Kairi's face as she looked towards Sora. His body laid there, almost motionless. Xemnas made her face him. "You wont need to worry about him anymore girly. He wont survive much longer anyw-" Xemnas was cut off as Sora jabbed his key blade through Xemnas. Xemnas screamed in pain. He dropped Kairi as he stumbled backwards. Sora removed his key blade from Xemnas. "Kingdom Hearts!" Xemnas yelled. "Where is my heart." With those final words Xemnas died.
Sora fell to the ground. A pool of blood was around him. Kairi ran to his side. Her eyes looked as if she had tiny crystals inside them. She grabbed Sora's hand and cried, "Sora, please stay with me!" She begged.
Sora turned to Kairi and weaved his fingers through her hair and stopped. He pulled his head up and kissed Kairi. Then he whispered to her, "I promise I'll never leave you alone as long as live." With those words Kairi smiled and embraced him saying she'd never let him go.
