Don't Leave Me
This is a one-shot that I had posted on my Tumblr, so I thought I'd post here on as well.
Warning: Contains Spoilers for chapter 414 of FairyTail. Contains angst as well.

"DAAAAAAAAD!"
The anguish animalistic cries that came from Natsu's mouth as he saw Acnologia ripped through Igneel's body.
The salmon colored mage dropped on his knees as he watched the body of his adoptive father fall to the ground, just like that time.
LUCY!
Onyx eyes watched as the shadow shaped spear pierced through Future Lucy's body and as if in slow motion, her body falling to the ground.
Tears formed in the corner of his eyes as he rushed towards Igneel's dead body.
"Dad, please, get up, dad!" He cried through the tears that spilled from his face. His words choked by the amount of emotions running through his body. "Please dad, don't leave me!" Natsu laid his head against the cold lifeless body of the king of flames. "Dad, please, you gotta get up." He pleaded once more.
Gray felt someone running towards him and his eyes widened at who it was. Before Lucy could say anything, she could see what Gray's eyes were telling her.
Go to Natsu, he needs you
Nodding her head, the celestial mage made her way, her eyes widening at the sight. Standing halfway towards Natsu, she couldn't help but gasp a bit. She watched as Natsu cried at the sight of his dead father's body. It pained her to see him so broken.
She felt something nudge her back, telling her:
He needs you now, more than ever
Lucy heard the voice of a male
Igneel?
Comfort him Lucy, please stay by his side
Mentally nodding, she walked towards her crying teammate. Kneeling beside him, Natsu instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist and buried his face in her stomach. Gently she stroked his hair as a way to comfort him.
"Natsu," she whispered.
"Lucy, why, did he have to die?" He cried.
"It's because he loved you," the blonde replied.
Natsu's hold tighten a bit. "IT'S NOT FAIR! THIS IS THE SECOND TIME SOMEONE I LOVE DIED RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!"
She pulled him away so she could look into his eyes,"Natsu, don't blame yourself for the death of Future me and Igneel, you tried your best."
"This time, my best wasn't good enough Luce!" He gripped his hair and shook his head. "Why, why wasn't I strong enough to save them? I was supposed to be the guy who had the power to save everyone!" He slammed his fist onto the ground. "What's the point of being a dragon slayer, if I couldn't save my father."
"Natsu," Lucy muttered, tears formed in her eyes as he continued to punch the ground to the point blood was pouring down his knuckles. "Please stop Natsu."
"Luce," with tear stricken ed eyes, they looked at each other, "Promise me Luce, promise me you won't leave me too."
She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him once more. "I promise Natsu, I won't ever leave you," she buried her face in his hair, "No matter what."

Yay, my second FT angst one-shot LOL. Anyways, this came to me after reading the newest chapter.
I wanted to add something at the end, with this:
Black markings began to form onto the fire dragon slayer's body as the feeling to kill Acnologia crept into his mind.
And Lucy's last line "No matter what," was supposed to be right after that line. I was going to write this as a start of a Dark NaLu fic I wanted to write based on Natsu being E.N.D. theory.
