Eli's life just flashed in front of him. He woke up. He grabbed his phone to find a text from Clare. It said" Hey, Meet me at school. xoxo, Clare". He smiled. But quickly his smile faded he remembered what had happened yesterday. He found Campbell Saunders dead. He saw him the laying motionless, on the ground. It reminded him of Julia's death. He wasn't ready to deal with this. He'd have to go to school with everybody asking about Campbell. But whatever he could pull through as long as Clare is there with him. He got out of bed. He changed into his Black jeans and Mayday Parade T-shirt. Walking down the stairs he could hear his parents discussing something. But as soon as he got down the stairs they shut up. They were worried about him. Anyways he got breakfast and left without a word. As soon as he got to school he went to his locker to talk to Clare. She asked "how are you? " "I'm fine "He replied.
