Author's Notes: End of Doctor Who Season 4 Spoilers?? "The Song of Freedom" popped up on my iPod as I was walking to work, and I nearly burst into tears right there on the sidewalk. THAT's how much I love this song/strongly identify it with the season ending.
Penny swung open the door, and wall of sound - a sweeping, swelling chorale soaring over a driving bass line – was blaring from the television. She looked over at the four boys, who were staring at the screen, weeping openly.
"What is going on here?" She thought she recognized the weird set pieces on the screen from some sci-fi show she'd seen them watching before.
"Why did they have to get rid of Donna!? She was the best!" Raj cried out, ignoring Penny's presence to focus on the sheer power of the scene.
"All wackerdoodles," Penny muttered as she exited.
