Kid

A little girl of the age of 5, walked on the quiet sidewalk of Station Square, off to another adventure in her normal, everyday life. Her skin was a gentle tan and her long, wild and curly hair was a beautiful golden blond in pigtails. She wore a loose orchid purple tee shirt, black cargo pants, gold, purple and black sneakers and white gloves with heart shaped emerald buckles. If this didn't make her stand out, then her large multi colored satchel and bright scarlet eyes did. She had a wide smile on her face as she hummed and skipped to one of her most favorite places, the park. It was quiet; of course it was always quiet that early in the morning. The birds were still asleep after all. The girl instinctively walked over to the swings and climbed up. She looked up at the sky, looking so young when it was truly old. The girl sighed, that was exactly what she felt every day, and it was only a memory, the time when she was naive and innocent. Sadly living wild rips all that from you, killing the weak hearted. It's a good thing she isn't weak hearted. Her heart was strong and loving, but even a strong heart grieves, and wonders why. Her heart was closed and her true emotions hidden so deep in her, not even she knew where they were hidden. The young girl looked up at the sky and the peeping sun. Listening to the world wake up. She sighed again. She would never get use to the sounds of the city.

"At least you are still the same Mr. Sun." she stated simply to the sun as it rose. The birds started singing, giving the 5 year old something nice to listen to that wasn't the constant sound of cars. The girl sat there until the sun was up in the sky, sharing its morning light to the city, and everyone was fully awake. She got off the swing and looked out at the big city. "Good morning Station Square."

She looked up at the sky again. "Good morning Maria, tell everyone up there I said hi." She smiled and then, she was gone, in a blink of an eye.
