Summary: When life gets tough, the weak roll over and whine.
I haven't decided whether independence is a blessing or a curse. My entire life I've been waiting on hand and foot and in my entire life I've never once had the urge to become independent. But now, with father in prison and mother being a raging alcoholic they feel the need to thrust me from dependency – stripped, naked, and exposed to the real world. I'm left to my own devices, forced into a job with crappy pay and can't seem to find anything in a single store that I can afford.
