Like everyone in the world Pidge has secrets. There is one that she will protect for as long as she could live. Few dare try to find out this secret and those that do find out, are sworn to secrecy.
Pidge can freaking sing.
It is a rare sight to see Pidge sing and very rare that the Green Paladin will sing. It takes two things in order for this to happen.
Pidge must have music playing around her.
2. She has to be so lost in her work that she doesn't notice that she is, in fact, singing.
The other Paladins find this out one day when the Green Paladin was tinkering with some spare metal just laying around the Green Lion's hanger.
They went to check on her because Pidge was scarce since everyone started to wake up and disappeared after breakfast.
The doors of the hanger opened and the four older Paladins stopped in their tracks when they suddenly heard someone singing like a professional.
"Is that… Pidge?" Lance asked in a whisper as everyone poked their heads into the den of the Green Lion.
And there she was with her back in their direction and her light green headphones covering her ear (She stole them back from Lance), some kind of invention in her hands.
Dam! Pidge's singing voice sounded amazing.
It was like Beyonce and an angel had a child and it was Pidge's singing voice.
In fact, the Paladins were so entranced that Hunk ended up weak in the knees and fell to the metal ground with a loud bang.
At the sudden noise Pidge dropped what she was doing, took off her headphones, and looked around to her team.
"What's wrong?" she asked in a slightly confused tone.
"Um… nothing!" Lance blurted out and the audience quickly scrambled away to avoid the possible outburst.
Pidge shrugged and put her headphones back on, going back to her invention.
Ever since the other Paladins would create elaborate new ways to listen to the Green Paladin's secret concerts.
The only one that didn't have to be hidden to listen was Green, she had a V.I.P. pass to every showing.
So I was on tumblr yesterday just looking at random Voltron LD headcanons and I saw a singing voice one. Now, Pidge being my #1 and the headcanon agreeing that she would have an AMAZING singing voice drove me to making this.
I am not ashamed.
