Blue eyes lovingly surveyed the three, tiny, pink noses perked up to perfected cuteness as the kittens pranced around her. She pressed a gentle kiss to the nose and furry head of each of her three children, granting them her approval, before stretching leisurely and leaning back into her beloved. He purred deeply as her head nestled into his fur and they watched over their kittens. They were safe, Duchess thought contentedly, safe and home at last, and she knew that, as long as they had Thomas, Scat Cat, and his gang to guard over them, they always would be.
