Gullible.
"There's no way he's that gullible." said a feminine voice.
"Wanna bet?" answered a male.
Beat Boy, green-skinned animal changeling teen superhero, felt so good, it took all the strength of his (rather tiny) willpower not to transform into a bird and fly around chirping excitedly. His desire to keep his best clothes neat kept him grounded… barely.
He had all rights to be happy. That particular afternoon had been spent dating the wonderful girl he hoped to make his official girlfriend. She was funny, sassy and an environmentalist at heart. Every single part of the date had gone tremendously well, from his initial arrival at her hotel room to the early supper at the best vegan table in town. It had even ended with a chaste kiss on the lips.
He was still grinning stupidly, his mind not quite fully there, when he entered the common room of Titan's Tower, where he came to a surprise stop.
"Duuuuuude..." he exclaimed "Who's the brat? She look like a small girly you!"
In front of him stood his recently inducted fellow Titan, a teen with white hairs, green eyes, DP logo on his chest and slightly glowing complexions: the half-ghost world saviour, Danny Phantom. Said Titan was grinning amusedly. Standing right at his side was a smaller tween ghostly girl with the same overall appearance, logo included. She, however, seemed a little ticked off. The older ghost took a caring, calming hold on her shoulders.
"She's my long lost twin sister Danielle..." he started to explain, only to be cut.
"It's Dani, with an 'i'." She interrupted, annoyed.
"... Dani." he continued. "We got separated at birth. We found each other last year. She came to visit."
"She can't be your twin." interjected Beast Boy. "She's much younger than you."
"Of course she's my twin." the white haired hero answered matter-of-factly. "She's younger because she lived most of her life on the east coast, in another time zone."
"Ah." said the green skinned teen, not even questioning the other's statement. "That explains it. Pleased to meet you, Dani." He shook her hand. "Sorry, got to go change." he added, designating his clothes with a sweeping hand motion.
Just as he was leaving to do as stated, Beast Boy saw a laughing Danny hold out his hand to a grumbling Dani.
"Pay up. I told you he was that gullible."
