So I think I'm going to do a Glee fic with charictors that I came up with on my own. This is an introduction to Elissa Ambrose, upcomming freshman, and just another lost soul, a missing piece to the New Directions puzzle. It's short, so give me feedback on if I should actually write about her or not. I'm thinking of maybe having her as a shy girl, and Rachel is going to take her under her wing (:

"Come on, its not even that bad, just do it." fourteen year old Elissa Ambrose looked at her friends, who were two years her elders, and shook her head. They were trying to get her to smoke weed, and it didn't look that appealing to her. "No Lexi, I don't want to. That stuff is

so gross.." The girls were shoving it in Elissa's face like it was a trophy, a prize that would win her a million dollars or something of a grand nature. "If you don't do it, Elissa, swear we won't

hang with you anymore. We're just trying to get you ready to be a high school student, don't you want to fit in with everyone?" Elissa looked at the weed, and then up at her peers.

Their eyes we're practically burning holes into her skin. They reminded Elissa of snakes. Black, and dark, fangs out about to attack and suck the life right out of her. It scared her, but she didn't want to be uncool. Elissa just wanted to be apart of the popular kids at school. She was going to be a freshman, and to be friends with seniors would be the coolest thing in the world. She had to do it, she had to take atleast one hit off the blunt, or else she'd be a loser. She'd be the girl who would have to sit by herself in the cafeteria. No one would come to her sweet sixteen, because of one dumb night where she didn't do what the older kids told her. "I do want to fit in.." Elissa said, her eyes narrowing on the blunt. Before her brain had time to think, her hand was reaching for the blunt. "Just light it," she frowned and held onto it, not even knowing what to do with the foreign object. "Good girl Elissa, maybe there is hope for you," The most popular of the girls, Lexi, took

a lighter and lit it, watching with pleasure as the young girl put it to her mouth and took a hit. "It's good isn't it, well tell everyone about this and you'll be so popular, trust us." It tasted awful, and made Elissa gag. She hated it, but the girls said she'd be popular. Her brain was starting to feel disconnected, like it wasn't inside her own head anymore. The muscles in her body relaxed and she looked around, suddenly more aware of the things that were going on. Her senses felt as if they were in overdrive and she didn't really like it. The older girls were talking, but she didn't understand what they were saying. She figured it was about her, Elissa was insecure and although she was very pretty, she hated the way she looked. She tried to comprehend what was going on, but her mind was far away in another place. She felt stupid, like she had just made the worst mistake of her life. Elissa was reconsidering what she had done. Was it really up to those girls if she were popular or not? No, it was up to her. Being popular didn't mean having all the cool kids as friends, it meant being friends with everyone, even the weird kids who sat in the back of the room and drew pictures of dragons. Elissa's heart ached, what she had just done was unforgivable, and not worth it. She wished that she could just take it back and say no, instead of making the worst mistake of her life.
