Chapter 1: Shattered Glass

It was a boiling day in Ninjago City. The sun was beating heavily down onto the domiciles and skyscrapers. The beach was almost empty; apart from the few trying to cool off with the cold sea waves. The Ninja were swimming deep in the ocean, their bodies becoming frigid and wrinkly. Zane stayed on the bounty with Wu and Misako - who needed help repairing after Firstbourne came back.

"What a day!" Exclaimed Jay, splashing water over his face. Kai was at the edge of the water with Nya, who was wallowing water over her midnight black hair. Lloyd, Jay and Cole came rushing back to Nya and Kai, their wet hair shining back to the aubade. They watched as the effulgence glowed over the edifices in the city, the cacophonous city commotion drifting through the air.

on the bounty*

"Weird how the sun has not moved for ages, it's not a normal sighting" Zane exclaimed, patching the wings of the bounty.

"Maybe: Or it May have to do with her kids" Wu Replied, as the sun quickly shone a bright from its environment. A burst of gold and yellow shone as a girl landed feet first onto the bounty

"You said to make a good exit..." they said, flying down a pole in the middle of the bounty.

"Solar. Never thought I would see you here..." Wu divulged. She ran down the steps, limping in laceration, with her eyes bright yellow and agleam. She grabbed the jug of lemonade off the counter and inundated it into a glass. She sipped at the libation. Then, when she finished, she allocated the glass onto the table and brushed her hand over her lips.

"Oh, I don't think we have met..." Solar Exclaimed to Zane "I'm Solar, an elemental master like you: I think"

"Nice to meet you Solar. I am Zane and I'm the elemental master of Ice" Zane Replied.

"So you are an elemental master. I'm the master of light" Solar Replied "well, I have to go. See you soon sensei!" Solar Exclaimed as she jumped off the bounty and stopped herself mid-air and flew away to the other side of Ninjago City, dodging all of the skyscrapers and apartments.

"Nya: if you could choose between fighting 100 little nindroids or 100 little snakes, what would you pick?" Lloyd asked.

"100 nindroids. I need my revenge for them calling me squeesh!" She Replied. Jay chuckled.
