'Of course it wouldn't be that easy,' His lips curled into a silent sneer at the sight of another male hanging around his team mate. Her light giggle echoed loudly at a joke the imbecile had made, had his blood boiling and his eyes flashing red. Fists clenched, his narrowed gaze morphed into a nasty glare. 'Fucking asshole.'

Uchiha Sasuke was many things. Easily angered, a legend amongst his shinobi comrades and so blunt he was almost cold-hearted.

He was also a very jealous and possessive male, every shinobi was, but they had a right to be selfish. They sacrifice their lives for the betterment of others. He just took it to a whole new level.

"Naruto," The blonde's head snapped up immediately, blinking almost lazily at him, "we're leaving."

A mocking smile crossed her lips, "Hang on princess, I haven't finished talking."

Not rising to the bait, he directed his glare to the brunet man next to her, "The conversation is over. Leave."

Fearing the worse, the man immediately paled and bowed his apologies to Naruto. Pouting as the man literally ran away, Naruto sighed sadly. The sound would have been more sincere if it weren't for the fact that she was smirking. Snarling quietly, Sasuke grabbed her by the forearm and dragged her away to their inn.

"The game isn't fun when you're on the receiving end," Naruto snarked as she tore her arm away from her team mate, "Isn't it Sasuke?"

A breath escaped her as she was slammed into the wall of the nearest alleyway, his eyes spinning dangerously as he towered over her petite form, her defiant eyes meeting his with obnoxious confidence, "My feelings aren't a game! This isn't a game!"

"Funny," Blue eyes turned glacial as she jabbed a finger into his chest, "I remember telling you the same thing and look how that turned out."

Naruto was many things. The future of the Leaf village, an exotic beauty and passionate beyond belief.

But she was a woman scorned and Sasuke regretted pushing her away for meaningless flings.

"Naru-hime," She didn't resist when a tanned hand pulled her away from the Uchiha, her eyes lighting up lovingly as she stared up at her husbands face, she pressed a light kiss to the fingers that grabbed her hand, "Is everything alright?"

Nara Shikamaru spared no glance for the Uchiha, his eyes lingering on the blonde in his arms, 'I am a lucky man.'

"I'm fine," A wide smiled crossed her lips, "I got the information before Sasuke scared the informant off."

"He did he?" This time the Nara did spare a glance at the furious Uchiha, he had no need to worry, Naru gave him her heart years ago. The Uchiha was only giving himself heartache, Naruto was beyond loyal and loving. She was the sun in his life, "I hope it was good information?"

Sasuke watched his blonde team mate in the arms of another.

Uchiha Sasuke was many things.

Too late to fix his mistakes was one of them.
