The Scooby gang was stunned into silence as they looked at the two girls that lay on the floor. Smoke was coming out of their bodies. "Are they dead?" A stunned Dawn asked. Just then the two bodies moved.
"Damn it, I still can't get the hang of that stupid thing." A black haired girl said as she helped her friend up. "Yea well, at least we weren't over the grand canyon like last time." A red head said.
"Uhg, don't remind me. Looks like that thing disintegrated our cloths again, luckily these suits held." The two girls were wearing skin tight black suits. The black haired girls' had neon pink lines going from her arms and legs to the middle of her chest. The red haired girls' was the same except hers were neon green.
"Excuse me but…who are you?" Buffy asked. "OH, how rude of us. I'm Lyra and she's Skyla. We are from the future." The black haired girl said.
'H-hi the-there." Skyla said. "Sky, don't you dare stutter on me, babble I can take, but the stutter is driving me insane." Lyra groaned. "I'm sorry Lye; you know how I get around new people. Okay, so there not new to us, but damn it!"
Lyra just shook her head. "How far into the future? I didn't even know time travel was possible." Willow asked. Lyra and Skyla looked at each other. "Nineteen years into the future." They said simultaneously. Before you ask, we're eighteen now." Lyra said when she saw Buffy open her mouth.
"Why are ya here?" Faith asked. "Um, to prevent two people from dieing and a possible apocalypse." Skyla said.
"Oh, great like Glory wasn't enough." Xander said dramaticly. "Sorry to ask, but why send two kids to prevent it?" Giles asked.
"I'm a slayer and Sky is a witch." Lyra said as if it was obvious.
Dawn looked at them weirdly before a sort of light bulb went off she shouted, "I got it!" Lyra smirked a smirk that the Scooby's new by heart. It was a Faith smirk. She turned to Skyla. "Pay up Sky."
"Damn, I thought Willow was going to notice first." Skyla then pecked Lyra on the cheek. The gang looked at them weirdly.
"What? Just cuz we grow up together doesn't mean we can't date." Lyra said. "It's not like our parents mind, actually their thrilled." Skyla said.
