Admittance
Hey guys here is a completely random idea that just popped into my head, very random indeed because it's a Ben/Juliet one-shot and it's based on a particular scene from lost itself so without further interruption here goes and I hope you like it guys.
Summary : Juliet learns something about Ben, and it might not be the thing she would have wanted to know of in the first place.

They look forward to the morn of everyday, they see each other everyday and yet all that's ever shared between them, is just a brief form of acknowledgement that the other one exists, but throughout this whole period in time, she starts to see a change in him. Like he knows something bad is about to happen, and it bothers her that she doesn't know.
It bothers her not only out of obvious concern for him, but in the fact that he still doesn't want to confide in or trust anyone, even her, and it not only hurts her as a result, but it also makes her curious of to where this gain of insecurity rooted from in the first place.
When she briefly got the chance to ask him about his life, all he ever said or told her was that it was "eventful" and with that he abruptly finished the conversation off, just like he always did, by simply offering her a comforting and friendly smile to hopefully end it right there, and to his good luck it does end for her there, because he is it for her, there is no other for her at this point.
So everyday she sees him, making his daily rounds around their neighbourhood and every day he offers her the same wave and smile, but today there is something different in him, something she's never seen him express in all the months she has had the honour of knowing him, it's fear.
In all their months spent together, "working together" as he so insistently put it, he had spent the whole time assuring her that there was nothing to be afraid of, however here by showing her that very fear, he was now making a complete contradiction of the beliefs he had assured her never existed, and once again it hurts her.
It hurts her to know that he is obviously not okay, that there is a reason for that fear to exist in him and she knows now because she's holding it in her hand right now, the x-ray which was taken two days ago. She wants to ease it away so badly, to assure him as well that there is nothing to fear because she is here, and within that very moment she makes a decision, a decision that would not only ease his fear but hopefully hers as well. So with that she follows him into his house to once and for all tell him the things he needs to hear, and the things her heart needs him to hear as well.
Hey guys there it is and I'm really feeling nervous about this because it's my first Ben/Juliet attempt, so hopefully it will come off in the right way. So what do you think guys??
