Hello. My name is Sapphire Medilia Arez. I've had an awful life. I've been raped and tortured by my parents. Thankfully, I was able to run away from them. Even so, everyone says I'm beautiful. I have pretty, purple flowing hair and large, sparking golden eyes. I can do alchemy without a circle. I've tried resurrecting my cat, Midnight Brightness with Cat transmutation, but instead of Midnight Brightness, a home phone appeared, taking away my widow's point, making my prettier. How lucky for me, huh? But, I never got to see Midnight Brightness ever again. I don't deserve this, do I?

One day, as I felt very depressed, I bumped into a short, blonde kid with a suit of armor beside him.

"Oww... Why is my life so miserable... My back..." I moaned.

"I'm sorry about my brother... uhh...?" The suit of armor asked.

"My name is Sapphire Medilia Arez. I've had an awful life. I've been raped and tortured by my parents."

"Uh... okay? My name is Edward, You can call me Ed, and this is Al." The short kid said. "Who would give their daughter such an unusual, weird name if they were going to do something like that? And... your hair is purple? Lolwuuut?"

"D-do you like it?" I asked.

"It looks weird and stupid."

"I- I thought it looked pretty...Everyone said it..."

"Is that even natural?" Al asked.

"Yes."

"What the F-"

"Brother, don't swear!"

I decided to sit down and reflect on my life. "I've lost my pet cat, Midnight Brightness, and attempted cat transmutation on Midnight Brightness, and-"

"DUDE. YOU DID WHAT?" Ed yelled.

"Cat transmutation. And instead of Midnight Brightness returning to me, like I have hoped, A phone had come instead."

"Wh- what did they take from you?" Al asked.

"My widows point." I answered pointing to the top of my forehead, where I now had a straight hairline.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"You know what, Al? Let's get away from her. She's freaky." Ed said.

"Oh... okay, Brother."

I couldn't believe it! These two strangers just met me, called me a freak and stupid, and weren't even feeling sorry for my life! Those two jerks...

"But... I've been tortured, raped, and had my cat, Midnight Brightness, dead, and I even attempted Cat transmutation on Midnight Brightness, and you are treating me like dirt!" I managed to scream out, crying.

"Hey. Our old shi-"

"NO SWEARING!"

"-of a dad had abandoned us, our Mother died, We attempted human transmutation on her, I got my arm and leg taken away, Al here, got his body taken away and had his soul bound to this piece of armor that just managed to be here, I had to join the military, got chased by a serial killer, and got knocked on the head a million times by a wrench." Ed announced. "And that's not all-"

"But I'm not as strong as you! And I, Sapphire Medilia Arez, am TOTALLY ALONE without Midnight Brightness, my cat, which I have tried to resurrect using cat transmutation!" I sobbed, hitting the ground with my fists.

Ed and Al were gone.

"YOU JEERRKSS!"

"That girl was freaky... and stupid, and didn't have a life." Ed told his brother, wide eyed and gasping from running away from Sapphire Medilia Arez.

"For once, I can actually agree with you..." Al said, looking back at Ed.
