(Drown your Sorrows)
A/N: Okay I know I haven't updated my other story yet but this popped into my head and it's only going to be a few chapters long. XD
After an argument with her mate Sesshomaru, Kagome storms out and goes to a bar to drink her worries away.
Dark hair was pulled up in a messy bun, small hands cradling a drink. Kagome sat at the bar of a local night club thinking about what brought her here. She had gotten into an intense argument with her beloved mate Sesshomaru. When he had gotten home from work that night she had confronted him. It had been months since they had spent any time together, months since they had "lain" together. She hadn't been angry when she approached him, not at first. But when she began to voice her concerns and feelings he just walked away and brushed them off. Telling her that he was too tired to deal with her right now. And that's when she lost it; she went off on a tangent screaming at him and asking him why he was neglecting her. To her surprise he reeled on her and began shouting as well, telling her how worthless she was. And how all she ever did was complain and spend his money.
Kagome had been taken aback, her mouth hung open in shock and she could feel a rainstorm raging behind her eyes. He reached out for her but she was already gone, he chased after her but she used a burst of holy energy to throw him back.
She shook her had to clear her mind and ordered another drink, fresh tears began to form as she thought about what happened. But she pushed them away in favor of having more to drink instead.
"I should have known that the Ice Lord would never love me." she thought bitterly to herself.
And that's how the night went on for Kagome; drink, remember what happened, fend off tears, drink more, and repeat.
