Chapter one
Leah was a very self-centered girl. That is, she used to be. You can find out what
happends to her when you read it. Please tell me what you think!
Leah Mawto got up on a peaceful Saturday morning. After she got dressed and ate
breakfast she ran outside. Leah was very mature for her age (which was 11) but, she was so self-centered she had only a few friends. Thier name were Jake and "Copycat". She had long,brown hair, beautiful eyes, and she always wore a gold chain with a tiny pokeball on it.She happened to be very upset that morning so she started throwing rocks at a pidgey. Then a voice rang out "Stop that!". She turned a saw a strange man wearing a cloak. "Aw, shuddup!", she said and kept throwing rocks at the pidgey.
"I am warning you.", said the man. "I am warning you.", mocked Leah.
She threw one last rock at the pidgey. "Haha!", laughed Leah. "SO BE IT!", the man yelled. Then he brought his hands together at a ball of light started to form
a ball of light. "What th-", started Leah. She didnt get to finish her sentance. She fainted.When she can to, she felt very strange. She crawled over to a lake nearby. She splashed water over her face. Then she looked at her reflection. There was a cubone`s face staring back at her. "Strange..", she thought,"There doesnt seem to be a cubone in this meadow." Then it hit her. That man... had he...? She started to look herself over. All her clothes seemed to have dissapeared in her transformation.
All that was left was her chain. She kept looking at herself. Had that strange, evil man turned her into a cubone? It apeared so, she had a helmet, bone, and tail.
She wondered what to do. She tried talking. "huh?", she said. She could still talk in human language! She decided it might help to see Copycat. So she truged along the road on little cubone feet. When she got there, she saw Copycat`s house. She started to climb up the vines into her bedroom window. When she made it to the top, she saw Copycat sitting in her room playing with her pokedolls. Her doduo was walking around the room saying "Mirror mirror on the wall...". She climbed in the room and fell to the floor with a THUMP. Copycat turned and saw her. "Oooh!", she squealed,"a cubone!" She ran over a started squeazing her. "Wait a minute!", she said,"I know who that chain belongs to! "Uhh, Copycat..." Leah started.
"Aieeee!", Copycat screamed and dropped her,"Leah!? Leah nodded sadley,"Yes..", she began,"Ill tell you the whole story..."After she finished telling Copycat, she sat down and said,"and now I`m like this."
Oh..",Copycat said,"but how..?" "I dont know", Leah said. "Should we let Jake know?", asked Copycat. "I guess", Leah said,"But he lives on Cinnabar Island. It was hard enougth to go from Viridian to here." "We can still go", Copycat said,"Ill go with you." "Ok..", said Leah. So Copycat picked Leah up and waled down the path.
