Sonic: How could you just abandon us like that?

Shadow: Thank God...

Sonic: *slaps Shadow*

Shadow: *pulls out machine gun and points at Sonic's head* If you slap me ONE more time, I swear I will─

A/N: ANYWAY, don't pay any attention to them. Alright, on with the story! :)

Chapter 1

At the stroke of midnight, the carriage would turn back into a pumpkin...

But, this particular spell wasn't cast by a fairy godmother...

Two red-haired twins laid on a white bed, sleeping soundly until a digital alarm clock goes off. One of them moves and nudges the other.

"Hikaru...the alarm.." Kaoru said faintly.

Hikaru stretched his arm, found the clock and finally tapped it to turn it off. The two of them just laid there until both of their eyes widened.

"No way..." Kaoru whispered, realizing what day it was.

The twins sat up. "It's Halloween!" they both shouted in unison.

"What should we do this year?" Kaoru asked.

"Why don't we do the haunted house again?" Hikaru suggested.

"Nah. Remember last year that the boss was so scared, he couldn't even go to the bathroom by himself?"

Hikaru laughed. "Yeah...bad idea."

Kaoru looked out the window and thought. He wanted to do something special this year, just for the two of them, but he knew that Hikaru probably wanted to do something with Haruhi this time. The two of them were very close brothers, but Kaoru wanted something even more than that. Sure, they acted homosexual in front of the ladies, but what about in real life? Even though they were brothers, Kaoru loved and cared for Hikaru deeply with a burning passion.

The only times they showed their brotherly love without the ladies around, was when it was only a tease.

"How about a halloween party? We can invite everybody to our place." Hikaru suggested, interupting Kaoru's train of thought.

Kaoru looked at him, his mind back in the present. "Sure, that'd be pretty fun. But we do have to scare them at least a little bit, right?" Kaoru asked with a mischievous smirk. Kaoru was very good at hiding his true emotions.

An evil smirk crept onto Hikaru's face as well. "Oh, most definitely."

They heard a knock on the door, and their two twin maids entered the room.

"Good morning, masters."

"Good morning..." Hikaru and Kaoru replied. Hikaru pulled a noisemaker from under his pillow and blew it at their faces. The maids' faces did not change and didn't show any reaction or emotion.

"Your breakfast is waiting for you downstairs."

"Alright, we'll be down in a minute." Kaoru replied.

"Very good, sirs." The maids left the room.

"C'mon, we should probably get ready for school." Kaoru suggested.

Hikaru sighed. The maids were no fun to mess with. "Mmmk."

The twins got up to get dressed for school.

Shadow: Sonic, why are you just STANDING there?

Sonic: 'Cuz, I've been waiting for the day that a GIRL kicks your butt!

Shadow: *glares* Fat chance. I am the Ultimate Lifeform.

Sonic: *roll eyes* Here we go again with the "Ultimate Lifeform" crap...

I couldn't agree more, Sonic. xD

Shadow: *death glares*
