Chapter 1: Beautiful
When Mordred heard of an unknown girl venturing into camp, he had high hopes that this girl would be Morgana, the woman who saved him countless times. But instead of the royal, pale beauty, he saw a brunette girl with bushy hair and the most soulful eyes he had ever seen.
The girl was injured, clutching her side in what seemed to be a mortal wound that would have killed her instantly if she had not stumbled upon a camp of magic using people.
And despite not being Morgana, not having magic, or any sense of intelligence, Mordred found her beautiful.
