Whoo ya, it's my first fanfic, sorta like war against good and bad. Sep is supposed to flee the Castle with Jenna but all's not well with the world. Septimus keeping trying to be the hero could lead them into some pretty bad situations!
Septimus peered out the window, watching the nightly ceremony of lighting the candles.
"Septimus" called Marcia briskly "Get down here now!"
Septimus hurried down the timber stair case.
"Yes Marcia?" Septimus asked.
"Something is happening in the Wizard Tower, something darke you must leave now" Septimus was shocked, if something was happening he wanted to help.
"No" Septimus refused simply, anyone other than Septimus would have been too terrified to even try to refuse Marcia Overstrand.
"Go" Marcia spoke solemnly "Take Jenna with you"
"No" Septimus refused again
"You must go" at that moment a loud scream came up from below "Now!" Marcia was almost in tears at having to see Septimus leave.
"Okay" Septimus whispered, Marcia held back tears as Septimus packed his bags, she was dreading what she had to tell Septimus. As he walked back down stairs ready for his departure, Septimus saw Marcia's eyes welling up, a small tear running down her cheek.
Septimus rushed over to her side.
"What's wrong?" Septimus asked wiping the tear off her face, Marcia smiled, despite herself, she couldn't resist, his touch was so gentle and welcoming that she had no choice.
"Septimus, you must leave," Septimus nodded and smiled.
"You already said that Marcia"
"Forever" Marcia added, she looked up and to her dismay saw Septimus's smile fading away.
"You are joking right?" Septimus asked, he figured this was why Marcia was crying.
"No, I'm not" Marcia looked away from him.
Septimus frowned, and looked at Marcia-as though this was the last time he was ever going to see her again- taking in her dark curly hair, her purple tunic, her comical purple python shoes and her loving pale face, with bright green eyes which Septimus loved.
"Marcia…I-I love you" he suddenly said, unknowing he was saying it.
"What?" Marcia sound exasperated, she looked into Septimus's brilliant green eyes and knew that he meant what he said.
"Hmm?" Septimus asked still in half a dream gazing at Marcia's bright green eyes, suddenly Septimus snapped and realized what he had said with a feeling of dread.
"Oh, um…"Septimus shifted uncomfortably "I mean like, I love you like a Mother" he said half heartedly.
"Humph" Marcia grunted, with relief "Septimus, Goodbye" suddenly an eerie laugh broke the silence. "Bye Marcia" Septimus quickly turned around so Marcia couldn't see the tears in his eyes; Marcia had already seen them though.
With that Septimus walked out the door only to bump into DomDaniel.
Hahaha, yup DomDaniel's back and he's brought more trouble with him, Septimus is in for it now! Stay reading for the next part!
