Hey guys, so I was going through my old stories and I found this baby. I was reading it over and realized that it wasn't that bad. So I brushed over it a bit, correcting what I saw and uploaded it here. I wanted your opinion of what I should do with this. Trash it? Or remaster is? Enjoy~
That's right ladies and gentlemen, today is the day. Prince Eugene's eighteenth birthday has finally arrived! After eighteen years of waiting the time has finally come where he must choose a bride and take his place on the throne. And of course for all those lovely young single ladies out there, this means it's your chance to try and woo the not so young prince, stealing his heart.. However I have something that is almost, if not more, exciting. Sources tell that Noll, (the princes most trusted and loyal knight, and not to mention most trusted friend,) will also be attending the party. That's correct! You did not misread. Noll has made the decision to attend the masquerade and of course wearing a disguise, hiding his identity from all. It is no surprise. He most definitely has not shown his true identity yet, and it's likely he will not ever. And as heart broken as I am to admit it, it won't be very hard for him. After all, this is a masquerade we are talking about.
I don't know about you, ladies and gentlemen, but there's nothing I like more than a hard working being, whom protects and works behind the scenes, never once asking for a thank you. So hard to find people like that these days.
However I must warn you to beware, my lovely readers. There has been multiple crimes where the victims have been drained of their blood. Not a single drop left. It's seems the killer or killers have a bit of a... mark that they leave in their victims. It seems they leave two small holes on the victims necks.
I know what you're thinking, reader. "Bite marks? Could it really be? Is there really a chance that vampires still roam this earth, feeding off the blood of mortals?"
I honestly can't give you an answer with confidence. I warn you my dear readers. Be careful whom you dance with this joyful night. You never who hides behind the mask. Are you truly dancing with a kind and charming prince, or is it a evil and terrifying demon? Who knows? But whatever you do, don't go out alone. And most definitely don't do it at night. Vampires or no vampires it's still dangerous...
However, a little danger sounds like it could be fun... So, my dear, dear readers, you may be thinking, "Oh my.. She couldn't be... Could she?"
To answer your question, yes, I can. I, Mai Taniyama, will be attending this ball along with you ladies and will most definitely be out for a long walk home. (Armed of course) And who knows, I just might meet a vampire tonight.
Until I return next time with another update, stay inside and stay safe.
-Mai
