Sarah got into the car and stared at Harry. "Are you sure you want to do this?" She placed the stuffed owl in the backseat. "Why of course Sarah it's the right thing to do." Sarah continued to stare at him. "You realize it's a twelve hour trip." Harry laughed "Of course i do, i spent twelve hours to get here." Sarah frowned "What were you doing in Aberdeen Harry?" Harry started the car "Well, to tell the truth old girl. Sorry, Sarah i came here at an impulse completely unlike me i know." Harry smiled at her "I am glad i did though." Sarah pouted, "Well I'm not." Harry had stopped the car. "I know things didn't go the way you wanted with the Doctor. I'm sorry Sarah." Sarah gave him a sorrowful look "You know, the Doctor was my best friend Right Harry." Harry could see tears in her eyes and it broke his heart. "Why yes of course Sarah." She tried her best to stay composed. "Harry, I know I couldn't stay with him forever. I didn't know that then but, what i didn't know was that i didn't want to." Her tears had started to fall. Harry grabbed a hold of her hands. "You don't have to talk about it right now if you don't want to." She smiled up at Harry "Oh but i have to. I've already started and i want you to know." Harry nodded and checked his watch, "We'll have to stay the night somewhere at this rate but, I'm not stopping you." Sarah nodded in understanding. "You see Harry i didn't know it until you were gone but, the Doctor was er … different without you around." Harry tightened his grip on Sarah "What do you mean old girl?" She frowned and shifted a bit."He was, less attentive I think he was showing off most of the time. I think it was because of you." Harry laughed relieved "Well i suppose he must have held me to a higher ground than i thought." Sarah was crying again "Oh Harry, you see I realized that it wasn't the travelling or the aliens or even the Doctor that I loved so much back then." She rubbed one of her fingers on his. "It was after you left I started to notice it. I hadn't wanted to accept it but, missed you." Harry felt his heart swell as he opened his mouth "Sar-" Sarah stopped him, she wasn't finished. "I really noticed it after i saw you again. I did miss you, and it wasn't the travelling, the aliens, or even the Doctor that" she paused for a moment. " I loved, It was you." She had collapsed into Harry and started to cry even more. "Harry. Sullivan. I. ." She managed to choke out between her sobs. "I. Missed. You. So. Much." They were both silent for awhile in their embrace, It was late and the windows had fogged. Needless to say drivers by made their conclusions but, they had no idea. "I'm Sorry." Sarah managed to say after a while Harry was silent he spoke after a long pause and his voice cracked. "What for?" Sarah realized Harry had been crying with her. "For everything, I wish i stayed with you after the zygons, or after the androids. I'm sorry for being so much trouble, look at us Harry we're in Aberdeen on the side of the road crying." Harry surprised Sarah by kissing her, "You're no trouble at all. Don't apologize I wouldn't have gone through any of that if it wasn't you. I love you too Sarah you don't know how long I've wanted to say that." Sarah kissed him this time "Tell me then, tell me everything. we've got all the time in the world."
