AN: Popped into my head a few nights ago.

Dana Grayson looked out of the window of her office; she had no patients for the next hour which was unusual. Everyone probably wanted to be out enjoying the first day of summer.

Dana sighed; she had no idea why she had been feeling so down lately. She felt like something was missing but she didn't know what. Just then the phone rang and she picked it up, "Hello Dr. Mitchell."

"Hello Dr Mitchell, its Chad Lee."

"Oh hey Chad."

"Want to come over for dinner tonight or do you have a hot date planned?"

Dana laughed, "No not tonight I would love to come over."

"Great how about seven?"

Dana smiled, "sounds great."

"Kelsey and Lucy can't wait to see you."

Dana thought about her best friend and Lucy, who was by far in her eyes the cutest eight month old ever, "I can't wait."

Dana hung up feeling more cheerful, life sure had changed the last six years. She had been a Power Ranger, become a doctor, and was going to run in a relay race next week to raise money for leukemia research.

At ten minutes before seven, Dana rang the doorbell and Kelsey answered, "Hey Dana."

"Hey Kels." She replied.

"Come on in." Dana stepped past her as Chad walked up, "Hey Dana we got home a little late so dinner might be awhile."

"That's fine so where's my favorite girl?"

Just then Lucy made her presence known, "Can I get this one?" Dana asked.

Both Chad and Kelsey smiled, "Aunty Dana to the rescue."

Dana went to the nursery and lifted Lucy up, "Not wet I guess you just wanted to be held."

Lucy cooed in response and Dana felt herself melt, "You are adorable."

Just then that strange feeling came back, of something being missing from her life. And then she knew, lately her biological clock was ticking. Dana knew she had always wanted children but finding a good man seemed to be impossible.

Chad and Kelsey had gotten married two years after defeating the forces of evil; Joel had married Angela FairWeather a year before Chad and Kelsey were married. They had two sons and a daughter.

Carter Grayson, the name made Dana sigh. Everyone had said they would wind up a couple; in fact bets were being taken. But after their time as rangers ended, Carter went back to being a firefighter and Dana went to med school.

It had been a year since they had spoken, Carter had been in the midst of a divorce after being married for a year and Dana was breaking off an engagement. Soon Ryan would be getting married as well.

Love seemed to be everywhere. Dana put Lucy back in her crib, "Sleep well baby."

Dana wondered what would've happened between her and Carter if they had the chance, but they had known each other for a decade. If something hadn't happened between them already it probably wouldn't now.

Dana rejoined her two friends, "Dana are you ok? You seem down lately." Kelsey said.

"Oh I've been doing some thinking about my life and it's pretty good."

"You feel like something is missing?" Kelsey asked.

Dana looked at her, "Yeah I do, I guess I'm just at that point where I'd like to settle down."

Kelsey smiled, "I felt that way when Chad and I got serious."

"Hopefully someday." Dana said.

"Don't worry it'll happen."

Just then Chad came in, "Dinner's ready, Joel and Angela just arrived plus another guest I invited."

Dana was puzzled, "Really who?"

Just then Ryan walked in and then Carter, "Hey Dana long time."

Dana found her voice, "Hey Carter." She had always been attracted to him, attending his wedding had been sheer torture.

He sat next to her, "So what's new?"

As they talked, Kelsey looked at her husband then the other two couples that were in attendance, maybe tonight another couple would be born.
