"Wah! Lyra-chan, how've you been? How is Sinnoh's Champion doing?"

"Ahaha, hello Sakura. I've been good, more or less. Here, I'll switch to video… there we go."

"What do you mean, 'good more or less'? Is something wrong? Can I help?"

"Oh, no, it's just that there are so many people hoping to defeat me and become the new Sinnoh League Champion… it's overwhelming sometimes. But enough about me, how're you doing? Beat any good trainers lately? What about B.K., is he okay?"

"Yes! Everyone here is great! I even caught a brand new friend yesterday. His name is Roosevelt, like from that show, Tenorikuma. Isn't he just absolutely adorable?"

"'Ursa?"

"Aw, he is! I just want to reach out and cuddle him…!"

"Oh, and yesterday, yesterday B.K. and I challenged a really tough water pokemon trainer and won! It was amazing! I think he really wants to face you again, miss champion!"

"Yeah, and Gallade wants to fight him, too. He's been going slightly mad, challenging any level pokemon he sees, captured or not. And when clover copies him, it's so funny!"

"Ahaha, I bet!"

"Lyra, when are you coming home? Mom and dad and I really miss you."

"I know, I know. But I have to balance managing the Elite Four and Champion duties, as well as keeping up with my pokemon's health. I barely have time to eat everyday, let alone travel across the region for a few days."

"But Lyra…!"

"Sakura, I just can't okay? Please try to understand that."

"Look, I promise I'll come home as soon as I possibly can. Please don't be mad."

"… Do you promise?"

"Heh, of course."

"Okay, I believe you. Well, it was nice talking to you, little sis."

"Yeah, it was. Oh shoot, I have to go… I love you, sis, and tell mom and dad that, too, okay?"
