Tori is lying out on her bed reading her new cheesy romance book while I am looking through the mess that is my desk for my textbook. Unlike Tori who is the queen of organization I am a fairly unorganized when it comes to my school work. Shifting through the piles I find something interesting. "Tori." I say turning to her reading through the paper. She lifts her head. "Yeah?" I show her the paper. "What's this?" I ask and she scans the paper. "Our monster ratings." She says trying to go back to her book. "Monster ratings?" I ask her again in disbelief. "Yeah, like how horrible and dangerous we are compared to each other." She says waving me off. "Why would you make this?" I ask her re-examining the list. "I get bored." She says shrugging getting back to her book.
Someone knocks on the door. "Come in!" I call and Derek opens the door. "What's taking so long?" Derek asks and I fold the list. "I can't find my math textbook." I tell him. "Didn't you lend it to Simon yesterday?" He says amused. I face palm remembering he dropped by last night asking for it. "Urgh, I totally forgot. Let me just get it from Simon and we can-""What's this?" Derek asks grabbing the paper in my hand. "N-nothing." I says quickly. "You're an awful liar." He says opening it. "Give it back!" I say jumping up trying to snatch it but he holds it higher reading it. "What the hell?" He says scrunching up his face. "Tori made it!" I say pointing at her. "You're such a rat." She says closing her book sitting up.
"Why is Chloe in first place?" He says scolding Tori. "Really? Do you have to ask?" She says staring at him like he's dumb. "I didn't think I was that monstrous." I say stepping in. Actually, I thought I was the least threatening in the group. "You raise corpses in your sleep." She says point blank at me. "Hey! That only happen a couple of times and it was while I was settling in to my powers." I say defensively. "Still quite monstrous and you brought down that lab." She says. "She didn't bring down the lab, a demon she made a deal with did." Derek says coming to my defense. "She makes deals with demons then. Also she killed Dr. Davidoff." She says matter of factly. "She was saving-""Intentions don't matter on the list PLUS let us not forget the time she brought a whole cemetery back from the dead." She says cutting Derek off. "Okay, but the cemetery was an accident." I tell her crossing my arms. "Accidents don't matter on the list." She says.
"Fine, then why are you in second place?" Derek says glaring at her. "I am a loose cannon who can cast spells at a whim by just seeing someone do it." She says proudly. "Yeah, but you haven't actually done anything monstrous." I say weighing in. "I knocked you out and tied you up in a crawl space leaving you there and I almost killed you when we met at the lab." She points out. Derek turns to me. "She almost killed you at the lab?" He asks. "You didn't tell him?" She asks surprised. "I had totally forgot about it, I guess that is monstrous." I says remembering how she threw that fire ball at me when I visited her. "How do you forget someone trying to kill you?" Derek asks angry. "Believe it or not, a lot of people have tried to kill me." I tell him shrugging.
"I also abandoned you when we ran in to that gang." She says. "Plus you picked that fight that almost got me disfigured." I add. Tori gives me a look. "That part is still up for debate." She says and Derek snorts. "Sure, but how does any of that top what I've done? I paralyzed a kid from the waist down." Derek says making his case. "Yeah, but what else have you done?" Tori says putting her hands on her waist. We're both silent for a moment.
"What about that trucker driver? You tied him up and left him." Trying to add to his case. "With a cellphone and if I remember correctly you and Derek did that." She says shooting it down. "I transform into a wolf." Derek offers. "That's what your race does so it doesn't count." Tori says shooting that one down too. "What about Derek killing Liam." I add and Tori shakes her head. "Doesn't count, that was a matter of life and death." Tori says and Derek jumps in. "Why does Chloe killing Dr. Davidoff count then?" Tori gives him a glare. "I am sorry, did you bring back your friend's dead mother to kill him with?" Tori asks him sassily. "Hey! It wasn't like there was anyone closer to use." I grumble. "Still applies to your monstrousness." She says. It gets quiet again while we're brainstorming. "He threw me down the stairs once." I offer. "Anyone can throw you down the stairs." Tori says rolling her eyes.
Brainstorming takes over again before finally I break the silence. "Huh, I guess Tori and I are more monstrous then you are." I tell him and Simon walks in. "What in the world are you guys talking about?" He asks confused. "Who's the most monstrous in the group." Tori responds and Simon stares at us. "You guys are so morbid."
