Saw the movie, Beastly. Never read the book though. But the movie was amazing! I really enjoyed it. [ : The message of the story, showing that it's whats on the inside that counts, is such a positive message and I love it.

I'm Alright Now

Lindy had just left for her school trip. Having been saving up for it for a few years, Kyle…or Hunter, figured that she deserved to go. And even though she didn't quite want to admit that much, Lindy thought she deserved it too, no matter how much she'd miss him and no matter how much he'd miss her.

But to his dissapointment, he still haden't gotten the, 'I love you', from her. And now, it was too late. His looks were now permanent. But somehow, he didn't mind as much as he had before. Kyle now had Lindy, and that's what he really cared about.

Of course he still missed going to school and being mister popular, charming, and good looks. But Lindy made him feel special, when the rest of the world didn't. Because to most others, he was considered a monster, or a beast. His scarred up and tattooed face portrayed that of a freak. Kyle still considered himself a walking, solo freakshow. But Lindy's encouraging words soothed the pain.

"You are the most beautiful man I have ever met."

He remembered her saying these words to him, and it made him feel butterflies inside him. Butterflies that portrayed happiness and love for this girl that thought he was this wonderful man.

Kyle still didn't quite see it. But he was getting there.

Starting to feel more comfortable about his looks. So comfortable that maybe, some day, he'll be brave enough to go out into the open and face the world.

But he wanted to wait until Lindy got back. And once she did get back, he would tell her who he really was.
