Random idea I had one night.

I do not own Warriors.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I can speak clearly now. I can hear. But it's not the same.

I'll never be a warrior, or even a Medicine Cat. I am still, and will always be Snowkit. I will never know another name. I'll never be Snowfur, or Snowtail.

I have a few things to say to some cats, I doubt they will listen, I'm only kit after all. But I've learned more than any living kit.

Bluestar

I may not have heard you, but my mother explained as best she could. I understand. But it was still cruel. Couldn't you break it to my mother more easily? You made it sound as if I had no life. I could have been Cinderpelt's apprentice, or, if it came down to that, living in the elder's den. In fact I would rather be a kittypet than dead, I would still have a future. Then again, I do not see a problem with living a kittypet's life. I was never fully taught the code.

Cinderpelt

No herbs could help me. You tried to comfort my mother. I wish I could say I have nothing against you, I really do. But I can't. Why were you given a second chance? You lived a full life! You even had an apprentice. You may have been disabled, but you still lived... twice.

Why didn't I live?

Firestar

You are a noble leader. I admire you. But... I have something against you as well.

Why did you give Jayfeather the hope to become a warrior? He was just as disabled as I was. I didn't get a chance.

Jayfeather

I hope to visit you in a dream someday, I have nothing bad to say about you.

Cloudtail

Just know that you are lucky. I can't help being envious that you (a kittypet's kit) got to be a warrior. Mother says white cats with blue eyes are commonly deaf. You are not.

I seem to have been forgotten. I've never been a popular StarClan member. My brother was the same way, deaf. He, on the other paw, doesn't mind being here. Odd how we can look so alike, but be so different.

Oh and Yellowfang, you still owe me an apology.

Poor selfish little kit. I owe thanks to my cat, Spider, who is curled up beside me right now.
