Ruby laid in her bed, her hands were places under the back of her head. She looked over at the bunckbeds on the other side of the room and saw Yang and Blake, cuddling next to each other, asleep. She looked back at the ceiling and sighed. A moment later she heard the bathroom door click open and saw Weiss emerge from inside. Ruby sat up and looked at her. "Weiss, I'm sorry about earlier, I-.." Weiss put her hand over Ruby's mouth, and continued to look at her bed.

"I don't want to talk about it. It's late and we have classes in the morning. Good night." With the final words said Weiss removed her hand from Ruby's mouth and climbed into her own bed. Ruby sat there, feeling worse than she did before. She pulled her knees to her chest and buried her face into them. After a while she removed her head and looked down at Weiss, who was now asleep. Ruby climbed out of her bed and got dressed. Placing the cloak's hood over her head she quietly left the room, making sure not to wake anyone.

She stood by the fountain in the courtyard, her cloak flew in the air, thinking about what happened that day.

I feel so stupid. Why can't Weiss see that? Ruby thought long and hard when an idea popped into her head. A smile grew across the young girl's face. She ran towards the Emerald Forest, about to make her idea real.

A buzz of an alarm clock filled team RWBY's room. Weiss turned over and hit the snooze button. She let out a groan and turned back over, expecting Ruby to have snuck in with her during the night. She opened her eyes when she felt the emptiness next to her. With a sigh she slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes. She looked down at her sheets and noticed a piece of paper sticking up from between two folds. She pulled the paper out and studied it carefully.

'Weiss, hurry up, get dressed and meet me in the courtyard before class starts, I have a surprise for you.

~Ruby'

Weiss gave the paper a strange look before she got up to get dress. Knowing Ruby, this must be special to get up before anyone else. Weiss thought, putting her jacket on. She left the room just as Blake's alarm clock went off. She walked slowly down to the courtyard, trying to figure out what Ruby could have been planning. When she finally got there, she saw Ruby, standing next to the fountain, with her hands behind her back, smiling her usual bright as sun smile.

"Glad you found the note Weiss," Ruby said, with a little yawn at the end.

"How long have you been up?" Weiss asked, noticing the bags underneath Ruby's eyes. Ruby thought for a moment, a long moment.

"I think for over twenty-four hours, or I took a nap about two or three in the morning for an hour. I can't really remember."

"You dunce, you're going to sleep during class!"

"Maybe you could help me with the homework then, like you always do. But I'd say the lack of sleep was worth it." She put her hands in front of her with a handful of white roses. "I got these from the Emerald forest last night. I finally thought that this would be a better way to say I'm sorry."

Weiss was speechless, she never had thought that anyone would have done that for her, let alone risk getting killed by monsters just for some silly flowers.

"Go on and take them. They are for you after all." Weiss stepped forward and grabbed the flowers.

"Come here you dolt." Weiss quickly wrapped her arms around Ruby's neck and kissed her deeply, a light blush spread across her face. Ruby's eyes widened, blushing darker than her cloak. After a moment, Weiss pulled away, with a small smile.

"Public affection, Miss Schnee? I didn't think you had it in you," someone had said behind Weiss.

"Jeez Yang, how long have you and Blake been there?" Ruby asked, slightly embarrassed. Weiss quickly turned around, glaring at the blonde.

"Long enough to see your lips getting attacked by Weiss there." Yang laughed as she saw Weiss blushing darker than Ruby. She walked up the two blushing girls and wrapped her arms around them, smiling. "Now let's get to class you love birds." She let go of Ruby and Weiss and walked over to Blake, grabbing her hand before leaving the other two girls behind.

"Shall we go, Miss Schnee?" Ruby asked, grabbing Weiss's hand, intertwining their fingers.

Weiss looked at Ruby, smiling softly. "Yes we shall, Miss Rose. And we better hurry, class starts in six minutes."

"Then why are we standing here? To class!" Ruby started running, pulling Weiss behind her.
