Ink, Paper, Books

This poetry craze is getting to me.

Sorry for a long hiatus on 'The Cursed Ones'. Writer's block and all.

The format is the same to that of 'My Grey World'. And yes, there is also a hidden message again.

Lavi's spotlight time.

Enjoy, and review if possible.

Ink

By Aleviene

Illustrious sentences

Scribbling furiously on a piece of indeterminate paper.

Numerous words

My task was to observe and write; to die with the history within me.

Knotted letters

Knowing more than others, because of who I am.

Placed upon my overflowing hands

A burden heavier than the wounds I have, concealed by writing.

And those voices

They pass by me. I tried to capture them, but they were gone.

Peering through

Sometimes, I wonder if someone is mocking me.

Each page as a blurred vision

My memories were there, but they never appeared.

Reading on, alone

Comrades are mere obstacles: so I was taught.

Between two decisions

Which to abandon: my feelings, or my fate?

One other eye was smiling

I hid my emotions behind a mask of happiness, never changing.

One other eye was weeping

But my other half wanted to feel their joy, to share the moments, to laugh, to be together.

Knowing many things

More than those who merely know, I know with understanding.

Such a fool I have become.

Yet I can never be who I truly want to be.
