Hiccup was banished from Berk for five years after Toothless. He spent banishment traveling the world with Camicazi and her Lightfury Rosie until they are forced to go to Berk by a looming enemy. The teens and Stoick are eager to know about Hiccup's past but he is unwilling to tell. What happens when a chief from the tribe called Hammer Fists arrives? What is Hiccup hiding and why?

1. Chapter 1

Berk

"Astrid please Toothless needs to be kept a secret!" Hiccup pleaded after watching Astrid run away. Astrid had no intention on that now after all Hiccup was the weakest Viking on Berk. If she told his father maybe he'd leave forever. Astrid ran all the way to Stoick's house and in through the front door. "Stoick! Hiccup has been befriending a dragon behind your back. I have proof." Astrid pulled out a dragon scale she took off of Toothless. Stoick grabbed the dragon scale in shock, how could his son befriend the enemy?

"Hiccup!" Stoick yelled in anger as he felt he failed as a father. He knew what he had to do.

Hiccup was placed in front of the whole village as Stoick blared out his grueling sentence. "You Hiccup Horrendous Haddock are banished from Berk for five years! If you ever so much as put a foot on this land before then you will be killed without question" Hiccup looked solemn and hurt as he no longer had a tribe to call his own. He turned to the teens seeing Snoutlout happy along with Astrid and the twins didn't even care, yet Fishlegs was the only sad one. Fishlegs and Hiccup were like two peas in a pod, both weird and adventurous. Hiccup turned to Toothless and nodded then turned back to the people in his ex-tribe and slowly nodded and his eyes turned to Astrid. Astrid felt his stare burn for she told them about Toothless.

Hiccup then rode off to the Red Queen nest in hopes for a new home amongst dragons. When Hiccup arrived dragons surrounded Toothless and Hiccup trying to attack the young boy. Toothless defended Hiccup up until the Red Queen sprung out of her nest to take down the duo. Hiccup knew that this dragon was sensitive to loud sounds and started banging on a shield until the queen sprung out her massive wings and flew up to Hiccup and Toothless. Into the clouds, Toothless shot plasma after plasma at the dragon until she spat fire and struck the tail Hiccup designed for Toothless. Falling the pair went with the Red Queen following close behind, Hiccup saw the queen getting ready to shoot and had a plan. "Toothless when I say fire, turn around and shoot right into the queen's mouth," Hiccup yelled getting ready. "FIRE!" Toothless turned around and shot a plasma blast right into the Red Queen's mouth causing her to flame up inside and crash to the ground. Hiccup and Toothless crashed into the sea, safe from the fire. Finally, the dragon raids were over for Berk thanks to Hiccup, and when the duo immerged all the dragons that were under the Red Queen's control now bowed to Hiccup and Toothless. The pair flew with a flock of dragons behind them into the great horizon.
