Noble 6 tore off his damaged helmet. He dropped the helmet to the ground. He saw a MA5C lying in front of him. Noble 6 picked it up and shot at the Elite shooting at him. The Elite fell dead. He turned hitting an Elite with the MA5C killing it instantly. Plasma hit his side. Noble 6's shield blocked it as he shot at the Elite. Another Elite shot at him piercing through his shield. Noble 6 shot back at the Elite. Another Elite ran forward and slammed into Noble 6 sending him flying backwards. The Elite tried to pounce on him. Noble 6 kicked the Elite backwards. Another Elite rushed forward it's energy sword out.
The Elites tried to stab him. Noble 6 kicked the Elite. The other Elite pinned him down. Noble 6 backhanded the Elite. The Elite fell dead by the force of the blow. The other Elite recovered easily and took out it's energy sword. The Elite made a downward thrust with it's energy sword. The sword pierced Noble 6's armor in the chest killing him instantly.
Dr. Hasley watched the video over and over again. She closed her eyes every time her Spartan III was killed by a blow to the chest. A man walked in. Hasley shut down the program and looked up. The man sat down across from her.
"Tell me about the children." Dr. Halsey didn't pay attention. "Doctor Halsey."
"You already know everything."
"You kidnapped them."
"Children's minds are more easily accepting of indoctrination. Their bodies more adaptable to augmentation. The result...was the ultimate soldier. And because of our success, when the covenant invaded. We were ready."
