"My Lady, the Fellowship has arrived!" Said one of my maidens.

"Thank you Quessangiel" I said and ran out of my room to my parents, Galadriel and Celeborn.

I was dressed in a long white dress and my long blonde hair had two small plates tied at the back of my head.

"Welcome Fellowship, I am Lord Celeborn; this is Lady Galadriel and our daughter Lairiel" Spoke father.

The Fellowship was two men, four hobbits, one dwarf and one elf.

The elf was kinda cute...

One of the men stood forward. "I am Aragorn, son of Arathorn. The hobbits are Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry. That is Boromir from Gondor, the dwarf is Gimli and the elf is Legolas"

Legolas meet my gaze and smiled. He had an amazing smile and it made me blush.

I quickly looked away.

"Now Fellowship, follow us to the meeting room" Directed mother, her, father and the Fellowship walked off. I stayed behind and went back to my room.

I sat on my bed reading a book. I couldn t concentrate properly. All that was on my mind was Legolas amazing smile.

He had crystal blue eyes and blonde hair, long but not as long as mine. I even noticed he carried a bow and a quiver of arrows on his back.

I looked over to the corner of my room. Up against the wall was my silver bow and quiver of black arrows. I threw off my dress and put on brown tights, a white singlet, and a light green over shirt and brown boots. I grabbed my bow and arrows and dashed out to door, down the tree and through the forest.

I was out practising my arrow shooting for a couple hours when I heard the faint patter of feet coming towards me. I drew an arrow, aligned it in my bow and spun around.

"Don't shoot!" Cried Legolas.

Legolas? What is he doing out here? I lowered my bow.

"Why are you out here?" I questioned him. Just because he is a part of the Fellowship and he's cute doesn t mean I trust him.

"Relax, Lairiel isn t it?"

I nodded.

"I just wanted to see more of this beautiful woods, it's nothing like Mirkwood"

"You're from Mirkwood?"

"Uh yeah. I'm well, the Prince" He said blushing.

Prince! He just keeps getting better.

"Oh I did not know. Prince Legolas" I curtsied to him.

"Please my lady, just call me Legolas"

"Only if you just call me Lairiel"

He grabbed my free hand and kissed it. "Anything for you" He said in the most charming way.

I felt my face go hot and my knees feel weak. Just stay on your feet Lairiel, I repeated in my head. I then realised Legolas said something but I didn't hear it. "Uh, what was that?" I asked embarrassed.

"I said can I join you?" His eyes twinkled as he spoke.

Snap out of it!

"Of course you can, but try to keep up with my skill"

Legolas laughed. "I think it is you who may have to keep up" He quickly drew his bow and arrow and shot into the distance. His arrow stuck the middle of a tree not to far away.

"Impressive" I said and the contest began.
