Chapter 1

It was a quiet morning for Kagome. She was the first to wake up, her head feeling a little woozy from last night's party. Her head filled with memories.

"Hey Kagome, come drink some sake with us!" the already drunk Miroku hollered out.

"Yeah Kagome, you're the only one who's not partying hard with us. We've finally gotten all the jewel shards and made it go boom!!" little Shippou already drunk off of one shot of sake Inu Yasha gave him.

Sango continued, "Yeah, and we also killed Naraku."

"I don't know guys… one of us should be sober right..." Kagome tried to convince them to not have her drink with them.

"Damn… shouldn't have taken those shots…" Kagome rubbed her head and got up from where she was sleeping. Inu Yasha was sitting near Kagome, sleeping a deep sleep. She smiled to herself and quietly got up from her sleeping bag. There was a river nearby, so she decided to go take a bath and wash off last night's smell of alcohol and lust.

She slowly slipped off her clothing, whatever she had on left, and dipped her toes into the very cold water, memories once again flooding her mind.

Sango was with Miroku against a tree, cuddling and talking about the future. Shippou was playing with Kirara, and Sesshoumaru was watching fireworks with Rin. Inu Yasha and Kagome were off walking in the forest, talking about their adventures together and how it's been a hectic five years.

"So Kagome… What're you gonna do now that you don't have a reason to be here anymore?" a buzzed Inu Yasha stopped and looked her in the eyes.

"I'm not sure… like you said, I have no reason to be here." She stared into his golden eyes and quivered.

"I want you to stay with me…"

Kagome noticed she wasn't alone anymore and quickly turned to see who was there. Inu Yasha was standing there with nothing covering him. Her face turned red and she looked another direction.

"Inu Yasha, you should cover yourself up… someone might see you." Kagome shyly said and tried to cover herself as best she could. Inu Yasha just walked towards her.

"I have nothing to hide. You've seen all of me, and I've seen all of you." He was now face to face with her. All she could do was stare in amazement.
