Ayame and Emily arrive at the college dorm campus.
The school was dark and deserted by the looks of the scenery, not a single person was present.
They make there way to a two story building with a banister hanging up on display that read kyoka's cafe.
Ayame and Emily walk up a small pattern of stairs to reach the main entrance. Both women look at each other in approval to proceed entry, Emily knocks on the door. Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock!
Hello! Said Ayame but there was no answer.
Emily pulled out her pistol and said: I'll go around the other side and see if there's another way in." Ayame nodes to her partner and watches as she runs out of her sight before attempting to enter the building.
Ayame tries knocking again this time she grabs the door knob to her surprise shes able to enter into the building.
Ayame walks into the bar area and took her time looking for a light switch. she noticed a picture hanging on the wall next to a small mantel.
She flips the switch on and takes another glance at the picture to see a woman and a small girl in the frame. "This is her, Angel Blade." Ayame said to herself reconizing the young woman in the photo. She hears footsteps getting close to her, she looks up and sees Emily coming in lowering her gun back into its holster.
Have you found any sight of her? Emily asked.
Nothing." Ayame responded. Judging how quiet it is in this place no one is here."
Looks like we're back to square one." Emily replied.
Are you really going to quit the force?" Ayame asked Emily. Emily looks at Ayame and noticed that same look she gave her back at the hospital, she responds: Yeah I think after this case is over I'm done." I told my father I no longer want to do this line of work and I kind of blew up at him but I was pissed off and overwhelmed by everything that's happened to me... although I do owe him an apology." Emily confessed.
You were just upset and I understand why you feel the way you do." Ayame responded. I did everything I could to find you and if you should be mad at anyone it should be me." Ayame started to tear up emotionally and Emily chimed back and said: its not your fault why would I be mad at you? we both agreed to the plan and it didn't go the way we thought it would." Emily continued: I didn't know what was going to happen to me with those monsters torturing me it seemed neverending." but when I saw you I knew you did all you could to find me." Emily hugs Ayame and noticed her face watering up. It's okay I'm fine,
It was a terrible thing to be forced into that situation, they were going to hurt that young woman and I couldn't let that happen so I gave up." Emily confessed: I did my civil duty as a police officer and I'd do it again if it meant a life could be saved." Emily's words moved Ayame in ways that made her feel more admiration for her partners outlook. Dispite how awful that situation was, Emily is focused and determined to stop the dark organization and also try to save Chloe, dispite the warning she gave her previously.
So does this mean that you are going to still be my partner? Ayame asked.
Emily looks at Ayame with that familiar smirk-like smile on her face and said." You can bet your ass were partners, nothing can change that." Ayame smiled with relief that Emily decided to stay on the force but she still keeps in mind that they need a plan to fight dark mother's mutants and the geo-bloods but there is still no signs of Angel Blade to help aid in their mission.
What are we gonna do now since we can't find her? Emily asked.
I'm not sure." Ayame admitted. With angel blade not around what chance do we stand against them?
I have an idea! Said Emily as she pulls out her gun and ejects the mag.
Ayame do you still have that rendering weapon you use on chloe? Emily asked. Ayame's eyes lit up with excitement, of course I do."
