Those Gray Eyes
They had to get married right after school ended. It was a deal with her father and his. Even when she was only a day old they planed this. They are not in love; she didn't think they ever would be. His always out doing things while she was at home...alone, in a huge Manor with pictures whispering to each other, all the house elves appearing then disappearing the next second.
She didn't like her life; in fact she would just mostly stay in one room hoping he'd go looking for her. He usually did, he always found her. Maybe the house elves told him but either way he would find her and she would just be able to catch his eyes before he had his way.
She always felt ridged when he touched her, kissed her, held her. It made her feel weak and helpless. She didn't do anything to stop it. She knew what he would do if she did. She never ever wanted to find out what would happen after wards.
She decided to go to the part of the Manor where it hung above the lake and you could see for miles. She let herself sit on the bench that was placed there; leaning back she closed her eyes. She sighed as the wind touched her face and the sun gently rested on her. She opened her eyes and watched the lake, as light waves rolled on top of it.
"Pansy?" A voice asked near the door of the room but she didn't move, "How long have you been up here?" It drawled softly against her ear.
She fought a shiver, "Only a while before you came," she said softly, "Draco."
She felt his fingers trace the beginning of her shirt, "Why are you up here?"
She relaxed a little when he removed his fingers, "to see the sun again...it's been to long," she looked up at him and looked into those gray pools. The only thing she loved, the only things she could stand.
"Maybe," he said sitting next to her, "Maybe you should come with me this Friday."
She closed her eyes for a fleeting moment before she opened them to look into his eyes again, "Why?"
He sat up looking away, "Goyle has invited me to dinner with the Minister," he took her hand and looked back at her, "if you want to go out that bad, then maybe it might be nice for you to go out and have dinner."
She looked away thinking she'd be better off at home then eat dinner just sitting there, quite. She pulled her hand away and stood up. Draco eye flashed and glared right at her, as if telling her what she should do. But she didn't listen she just...didn't feel up to it.
He grabbed her hand, "Well?" He snapped.
She tried pulling her hand away but it made no use he had a tight grip, "Pansy," he growled.
She looked at him, "What?" She asked calmly.
That's when he did it; it seemed to fast that she thought it didn't happen. But it did he hit her. She stood there shocked as she touched her cheek with her free hand.
He let go of her hand disgusted and she watched as he walked away before he slammed the door. She fell to her knees, she wouldn't cry. She didn't cry when she saw her brother die. Didn't cry when she saw the one she secretly loved get taken from her, No, she would not cry, even for those gray eyes.
