This is a poem about shattered promises, and effects of tragedy when Irvine dies and Selphie is left alone. (It's the poem from Sunshine and Storm Clouds, if you haven't read it the poem still stands fine by itself, but i recommend checking it out...dropp
Promise made on a gentle breezeThat he
will leave you, never
Life
isn't lived with such an ease,
Soft
clouds don't last forever.
Purest
clouds can turn to black
As
the brightest face turns dim
Too many pains for her to trackWhen thinking turns to him
When lightening tears across
the sky
It brings to light what time has told.
That
all is well when white clouds fly;
Dark skies
can mock the tortured soul.
AUTHORS NOTE~ okies, a friend emailed me and said
that she really liked the poem from my story Sunshine and Storm Clouds and
