Hello, this is Isaiah Flamez, and I'm here to upoad a post for Joshaya Appreciation Week: Day Two. This story is about Josh and Maya meeting for the first time. Sorry it's a little short, but this is all I had in my head at the time. Please leave me any reviews so that I can see how you enjoyed the story.
Inside of a New York City apartment, Joshua Matthews was getting ready to go out with his friends like they do every Friday night. On the other side of town, Maya Hunter was getting ready to do the same thing with her friends. Surprisingly, they both were 22 and went to NYU, but have never met each other before.
They are all inside this new club called Dancing Queen, named after the ABBA song. Joshua is just dancing with a bunch of strangers, when suddenly, he looks up from his feet and stares across the bar and sees Maya. Maya also happens to look in his direction and smiles lightly. Joshua returns the smile.
"Hey there, pretty lady," says Joshua. "Nice to meet you here. My name is Joshua." Maya then replies, "My name is Maya. Pleased to meet you. How've you been?" "Never better," replied Joshua. "You look familiar. What school do you go to?" "NYU," she replied. "You?" "Same," he says. "Wow, this is so unbelievable," they replied at the same time.
They spent the rest of the night dancing and getting to know each other's families, like how Maya was originally from Boston and how Joshua was originally from Philadelphia. At the end of the night, they exchanged phone numbers and told each other to call them the very next day.
Unbeknownst to them, that was the start of a beautiful and long-lasting romantic relationship that is still amazing today, with three beautiful children in the future.
