CH 1 Disaster
"On your mark..get set..GO!!!" the coach yelled for the umpteenth time that day. She watched the girls race around the track, trying, in vain, to beat one of their own. One Hotaru Mitzuno. Hotaru always won races. In fact the only times she didn't win a race was when she was sick or the time when another racer from a rival school tripped her in the middle of the race. She had the title of being the fastest girl at Makiro Girls Academy, her twin brother had the same tittle at Nakin Boys Academy.
Just as the last girl crossed the finish line a woman that had arrived during the race walked up to Hotaru and said,"Miss Mitzuno?"
"Yes that's me"
"I'm afraid you'll have to come with me."
"Why, I didn't do anything."
"Your parents died in an accident this morning. You and your brother have to identify the
bodies." The crowd that they had gathered watched a Hotaru fell to her knees crying.After a few seconds the lady went to grab her arm to lift her up and take her with her when Hotaru snapped out of her daze, jerked away, jumped up and started running away.
I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
The lady tried to catch her, but she started running faster, running towards whatever it was that was calling and tugging her, and away from what had happened here.
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave me
She faintly heard someone calling her name but the pull was strong and getting stronger.
Cause your presence still lingers here
and it won't leave me alone
The necklace that her mother had given her started glowing as she wished to get away, from the pain, and the memories.
These wounds won't seem to heal,
this pain is just to real,
there's just to much that time cannot erase
She kept running ad the memories flooded her of her mother and father. A blue beam of light
appeared in front of her and she ran right into it.
When you cried I wiped away all of your tears,
when you screamed I'd fight away all of your fears,
and I held your hand through all of these years,
but you still have all of me.
Every one just stared as the light disappeared taking Hotaru with it, not noticing the other beam of light that appeared at her brothers school disappeared also.
