Angel's Tale
A tale is told
Narrated by God, heeded by angels
Of a man, golden and pure
Who led a path of wisdom

Noble and humble
A labor of peace
A finder of aspirations
One gift taken for granted

The pain of grief
Is but a shadow
When compared to the anguish
Of never-ending loss

In stillness of life
Time slips away
He walks on, slowly
A paradise lost…a memory forgotten

And as the tale comes to an end
A new chapter opens
Bare and virtuous
Filled with chance and hope

The angels wept, in somber happiness
For the rain fell incessantly
A single tear signifies a drop
