"Auntie Cosima?" Kira plops down next to her mom's clone.

"Whatcha need kiddo?" Cosima looks up from her laptop, grinning at the young girl.

"When is Auntie Delphine coming home?"

"Ummm," Cosima checks her watch, "She should be her soon. Maybe 5...10 minutes? Why?"

"I need help. For school."

"With what? Maybe I could help you."

"Well...it's science. And Auntie Delphine said she was better at science than you."

Just as Cosima's about to defend her science skills, the door opens and Delphine walks in. She shakes some snow out of her hair and kicks off her boots. "It is very cold outside," she states, sitting down next to the radiator.

"Auntie Delphine! Can you help me with science?" Kira runs over to the blonde and sits in front of her.

"Oui ma petite. But why did you not ask Cosima?" Delphine looks up at her girlfriend who is now back to typing on her Mac.

"Apparently somebody told her that you're better at science than me. Any idea who might have said that?" Cosima says.

"Merde," Delphine gulps, "Kira, let's work upstairs."

Cosima's eyes twinkle with laughter as she watches her girlfriend bolt up the stairs, Kira hot on her heels.

A few hours later

"Cosima, can you help me with this?" Delphine asks from their room, staring confusedly at the research papers before her.

"What is it?" Cosima sits down next to her and reads a few lines from the paper in Delphine's hand.

"Research from the lab. My friend wants me to go over it but I do not understand what he is trying to prove."

"Hmmmm, science stuff. I'm not sure if my brain is capable," Cosima's face is solemn, "After all, you're better at this. If you don't understand it, I definitely won't."

"You are such a brat," Delphine giggles, whacking Cosima lightly on her arm. The younger girl laughs and rolls off the bed. "I'm making coffee. Want any?" "No," Delphine pouts, "I want you to help me."

Cosima expertly avoids looking at the other girls puppy dog eyes, knowing that the minute she does, it's all over. "I'm bringing you a cup anyways." She sprints out of the room, grinning as she hears Delphine groan.

Cosima returns with her coffee about five minutes later.

She gives Delphine a cup and sprawls out on the bed, resting her head in the other girl's lap. "Alright, let me see the papers," she grins. Delphine sips her coffee and hands them to her.

Cosima laughs a few sentences into the first paragraph. "What?" Delphine asks, as Cosima shoves the paper in her face. "The third sentence is what he's proving. It says right there 'The cells we worked with were able to reduce the rate of cancer by 5% in a little over half the rats we tested it on'." Cosima hands the papers back to Delphine.

Delphine scrunches up her nose and puts the research away before draining her coffee. She sets the empty mug on the bedside drawer and slips under the blankets. "Can you turn the heat up ma cherie. I am very cold."

Cosima raises the thermostat then slips under the covers. Delphine turns on her side and wraps her arm over the brunette's stomach. Cosima presses her back against Delphine's torso and covers the other girl's hand with both of hers. "Night Delphine," she whispers, her eyes closing. "Goodnight ma cherie." Delphine presses a kiss to the back of Cosima's neck. They are asleep in a matter of minutes.
