Jack flew high above the houses in the city of Arendelle. He had never felt so free! Someone had seen him! He was a guardian! He continued flying without a care in the world until he came to the tallest building in Arendelle, the castle. He landed on a windowsill laughing as he sat down and looked up at the moon.
He sat there for what seemed like forever until an owl flew to close to his face. Thinking it was time to leave, he stood up and was about to fly away when suddenly he heard the sound of a baby crying drifting out the open window. He turned around and looked inside the window and gasped.
A young girl, no more than one was lying in a crib in the middle of the room. She had long reddish brown hair and her eyes were an icy blue. Her face was flushed and Jack knew then that the little girl was going to die soon, most likely that very night.
He jumped in from the window and stood beside the girl's cot looking down at her. She opened her eyes and looked up at him, pleadingly. He put his hand, cautiously on her cheek and she closed her eyes, and her little chest no longer moved. He took his hand away and covered his eyes thinking he had killed her.
Suddenly he could hear her breathing. He opened his eyes, just a little, and saw that her hair was now white blonde. Her eyes opened and she was smiling with perfect teeth, teeth that Tooth would adore.
She grabbed his hand and he could feel that they were the same temperature as each other now.
She started gurgling happily, grabbing at things. When her hands came into contact with the wood of her cot, it was frosted with tiny snowflakes.
Jack was shocked. Had he healed her? Did a bit of his power flow into this little girl's body? He could hear footsteps outside so he ran to the window and, with a look back at the contented girl, he jumped out the window and soared away. Someday he would come back to see that little girl grow up, see what she becomes. Someday soon.
