When I walked through that hall…

Raven snuck through the dark hallways of the Tower. They didn't need her, when did they? Now that she is always there.

I knew that they didn't need me; I'm not worthy to be called a hero anyway.

Stalking off into the evidence she looked around. Pulling off the glass she checked if the barrel was full. Hiding it underneath her cape she slowly made her way to her room.

It has to be quick; I have suffered to much that is slow and painful.

She checked if anyone was coming, no, they were all down in the lounge room. Having the best time in their life, not knowing what was coming.

I have had enough of her taking my only love away each day. I feel that my heart is pulled out each and every day that they are together. Every time they hug, they kiss my heart breaks in two. Oh yes…I remember her telling me that I didn't have a heart. How much I regretted to bring her back. I had too, just to see him smile again. How he would never understand how much I wanted to be in his arms. To feel his touch, oh I would give anything for that.

As Raven was closing the door a gloved hand stopped her and opened the door. A green face looked at Raven's. Before he could say something, Raven closed the door. There was nothing else to hear, nothing else to say.

I knew, seeing his face was the last thing I was going to see. To see that he wanted to talk to me; but I shut the door in his face. I will never forgive myself for that.

Raven sat on the floor then levitated into the air, if there was a time to remember anything that was happy. Making her want to live, remember now. It only brought tears to her eyes. It was the pain that nothing happy did come to mind. There was nothing happy to remember. Only the memories of sadness and rage flashed through her mind.

No joy, no laughter. The sound of crying, death, anger, and sorrow filled my head.

Pulling the gun from underneath her cloak she clicked it and pointed it to her head. This was the only way, to escape, to end the sorrows, the pain. Just before she pulled the trigger there was a knock at the door. She heard someone call her name. Tears came to her eyes, closing them she heard the door open. Opening her eyes she saw Beast Boy by the door. "No Raven!" he cried running to her.

"I love you Beast Boy." Raven replied quietly before pulling the trigger.

Nothing really came to mind,

About the world I have left behind.

Beast Boy caught her falling body and lay down on the ground. The gun dropped to the ground.

I had more to say, before she left me behind.

That I loved her, more than she ever knew.

Tears ran down Beast Boy's face, he knew that the Titans would have heard the gunshot. Breathing heavily, he realized why she had done it. Kissing her brow he whispered. "I'm coming…"

There was nothing to say, but one thing to do…

I had join her, be with her.

To give her the gift she had long waited for.

The love,

That she had never felt before.

There was another bang, the Titans ran into Raven's room to see that the door was wide open. One Titan, closed her eyes, knowing it was partially her own fault.
