It had been a week since the deaths from the disease Motonari and Motochika had been hit hard by the news of his death. Although he acted as usual in front of everyone, inside he was torn. Currently, he held a letter in his hand. A letter of Motonari, who he loved so much, even if they are enemies.
He finally mustered the courage to open the letter. Actually it was a little afraid to read it. But he really wanted to know what his love Aki thought before his death.
He opened the letter and read it to himself.
Dear Motochika,
My disease only gets worse with each passing day, and I know I'll never get over it. I wanted to say something the last time you visited me, but I could not bring myself to tell you as this would only pain.
I loved ... But I was too proud and stubborn to ever admit to you. To be honest, I wanted to spend my remaining days with you. Your kind and gentle presence would have lifted my spirits.
I know you loved me so it must be hard for you to read this, but I wanted you to know that I felt even though it was already late. I regret not having the courage to tell you in person, but I was afraid about my feelings and that I would die for you to be only worse.
Please do not spend the rest of your life grieving for me. Simply get all your emotions out of your system, then continue on your life. Grabbing the past hinder you and cause you more pain.
There is much more I want to say, but I can not find the words. I just say goodbye and end the letter. Farewell Motochika.
With love, Motonari.
He read the letter a few more times until finally it sank. Tears welled up in the eyes and ran down his face, staining the letter.
-Damn, Mori ... Why? What you have ... tell me ... ?
He calmed down, folded the letter and put it in his jacket. He stood up, walked on his bed and put down crying quietly in its coverage. He stayed like that for hours, not feeling hungry at all when his men called him for dinner.
He just wanted to be alone with his thoughts. Mori thoughts running through his head that he could not escape the memories he had with the Lord Aki remain etched in his memory. He wanted to scream out loud his frustration.
"-I love you ... Motonari." Motochika whispers on the pillow
"-I love you too, Motochika." a ghost of Mori standing at the window and disappeared into the night.
Motochika continued to cry in silence until he fell asleep ...
I noticed that most of the stories are in English. then as I speak English and French in same temp, and I said to myself: "why not make a fuss in English?", like that, at least, I know that someone would read them at least once. please, post reviews... ^^
