Disclaimer: The Outsiders belongs to S.E. Hinton. And I do not own the song My First Kiss by 3OH!3 feat Kesha/Ke$ha
A/N: This fic was made out of boredom. Seriously, it's 9:50 PM on a Sunday, and I should be sleeping. But instead, I'm here, writing this. I really need to get a life. Oh and I personally don't like the song My First Kiss, but it fits the story.
My First Kiss
Steve Randle walked into the classroom, scanning around for his best buddy, Sodapop Curtis. They met a few days ago, and they immediately became friends. They were both in second grade, although Steve was a few months older than Soda.
A group of greasers were laughing loudly. "Hey, Steve! Listen, listen!" One of the boys that Steve had forgotten the name of exclaimed. He motioned for him to come over.
Steve walked over and cocked an eyebrow. "What?"
"Gary's mom and dad kissed yesterday!"
Steve shoved his hands in his pockets. "Are ya'll stupid?" Steve questioned harshly. "Kissing between couples is normal."
One of the boys raised his eyebrows at him. "Oh really? So have you kissed anyone before?" the boys smirked at him, waiting for his response.
"Nah, but I could do it." he bragged. "It ain't that hard."
"Yeah right, Randle!" the boys yelled in disbelief.
Steve glanced over to a girl who was playing with her friend. "So, if I do it, ya'll need to give me a quarter each."
"Sure, but I bet you can't do it!"
Steve smirked daringly and walked over to the girl.
"Hey, Booty!" he called out to her.
She turned to look at him and she glared. "My name is not Booty! It's Judy." She snapped.
Steve rolled his eyes. "Who cares, Moody." He muttered, grabbing her wrist. "Come with me."
He led her over to a corner, and turned around to make sure the boys were watching. He then pressed his lips against hers forcefully and waited a few seconds. Her eyes widened, but she stayed still. Steve pulled back and walked away from her, leaving her dumbfounded.
The boys had their eyes wide open.
"Now, ya'll cough up twenty-five cents each." Steve demanded.
The seven boys each dug into their pockets and handed Steve the quarter.
Steve smirked as he counted his money. A dollar and seventy-five cents.
