Lucky

Kise was going for a short walk at the bayside. In order not to be hoarded with obnoxious fan girls, he had disguised himself with a cheap hat from a bargain sale, and round dim sunglasses that covered half of his pretty face. He thought a robot mask of some sort would work, but, he remembered that he already did that once… not a good idea. Also, he used a lot of hair gel, molded to hide his bangs. With his new temporary appearance, he could not be recognize oh so easily, unless if one noticed his unusual eyelashes.

Anyway, the model wanted to simply relax, by sighting a beautiful sunset. Before, he liked to be accompanied by a woman or a friend. Yet now, he chose to be all by himself. Loneliness was something he was not used to, and so he decided to embrace it for now. Melodically, he hummed an upbeat tune. It was not an actual song; he just made it all up, really.

As he found a vacant bench to sit on, he casually sat on the left side. (He just felt like it.) He looked at his silver watch and sighed. Grabbing his phone, he browsed through his countless fan mails. One of them said 'Marry me!' with a smiley face and he chuckled at it, then skipped to the other text messages he had received.

"Why are you here?" A familiar baritone voice asked.

Ryouta turned his head around to see an old friend, Midorima. Was he even there earlier? Kise was certain that no one was sitting on the bench a while ago.

"Midorimacchi!" He greeted with a welcome hug, which irked four-eyes. "How are you? Are you going to see the sunset too?"

"Please leave," requested Shin-chan, and pushed him away with much force. He disregarded the questions; it was not worth the time answering, but…

"Y'know, I saw Oha-Asa earlier," admitted the blond with a smirk then chuckled. "Today, Cancers are lucky with Geminis, right?"

The Cancerian nodded and rolled his eyes in defeat. It was truly true, after all. Kise grinned at him, and then rested his head on Shintarou's shoulder. The shooting guard was annoyed, like always, but he let his former teammate be anyway.

There was another reason why he was present there.

"Look!" the model exclaimed, pointed his finger at the bay. "The sunset! It's so wonderful!"

"Indeed." Midorima said in agreement, he did not force himself to respond. It was just subconsciously said.

While the fabulous model took pictures of the sundown using his phone, Shintarou took out an orange handkerchief and wiped his spectacles clean. He also tried to leave without saying a word; After all, he had seen his lucky scenery for the day.

Yet, Ryouta noticed and grabbed his wrist gently.

"Where are you going?" He asked with a jeer.

"Am I not your lucky person for today?"
