Star
Last night, Kurapika sat on his chair and peered over his window. The cold wind blew softly on his face as he admired the endless horizon of the dark blue sky. The infinite number of stars shone like silver and gold as they danced with the clouds. Yes, they were like jewels in heaven, showing off their fragile authenticity and clarity. Among the endless number of stars that glittered, he noticed a single star losing its eminent glow beyond the dark. Out of his curiosity, he asked:
"Star that shone so bright, why is your glow disappearing from my sight?"
To his astonishment, the star answered in a sweet angelic voice that could set any man's heart into a trance.
"I have grown weak and tired of shining for someone that I loved, for someone whose glance can never be mine…"
Then, in a swift time, the star slowly faded and was swallowed in the darkness, as if it was crying from grief, as if it was bidding its last goodbye.
